Fill a rocks glass to the top with crushed ice
Pour 0.5 oz of lemon juice, 0.75 oz of vanilla syrup and 2 oz of Scotch whisky into a shaker
Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
Strain into the rocks glass
Top up with chilled lapsang souchong and stir gently
Top up with crushed ice
Rim the glass with orange zest and garnish the cocktail with it
